Secondary School Cut-Off Points 2024 & 2025

While the cut off point (COP) may change in 2025, the secondary school cut off point 2024 values are strong indicators of next year’s cohort requirements.

The table includes Cut Off Points for Integrated Programme (IP) and Non-IP Secondary Schools. We’ve also displayed the secondary school cut off points for both 2024 and 2023 to help you understand any upward/ downward trend in scores.

All Secondary School Cut Off Points (Non-IP & IP Schools)

HOW IT WORKS:

  • Search & filter: For ease of use, you can use the search bar to filter for specific school names, IP/Non-IP, regions and cut-off points. Example: “East”, “Cedar” OR “13”.

  • PSLE Score Cut Off Points: Score of the last student admitted to the school.
  • PSLE Score Range:  PSLE Score of the first and last student admitted to the school in the previous year, through the respective Posting Group (PG).
  • D/M/P: When the cut off is determined by Higher Chinese Language (HCL), it will be followed by the suffix D/M/P, for Distinction/Merit/Pass grade (E.g. “10M” = 10 points with Merit in HCL).

Are there still Express, NA and NT streams? What is my Secondary School Posting Group?

From 2024 onwards, the Express, Normal (Academic) and Normal (Technical) streams have been removed. Students will instead be posted to secondary school through three Posting Groups - Posting Groups 1, 2, and 3.

Posting Groups will only be used to admit students into secondary school and to guide the initial subject levels that students can take at the start of Secondary 1. Throughout their secondary school education, students can take subjects at three subject levels: G1, G2, G3, which are mapped from the previous N(T), N(A) and Express standards respectively.

These subject levels can be adjusted at appropriate junctures, based on students’ strengths, interests and learning needs. For more information on the move to Full Subject-Based Banding, please visit MOE’s website at https://www.moe.gov.sg/microsites/psle-fsbb/full-subject-based-banding/main.html

"Duncan is a super super caring teacher who puts his all in his students!! He goes through content in depth beyond A level content sometimes to spark our interest in physics and his enthusiasm in teaching is very infectious! Not only is he good at explaining concepts and going through questions, he is extremely patient and does not leave anyone behind in the classroom."

"While Zenith’s notes are much better than my school's, it was truly my tutor who got me from a U to A grade. He is someone I truly respect. Not only was he very approachable, he made sure that we really absorbed what we needed, and was always willing to stay way past our lesson timings to clarify any of our questions."

JC Economics

"After joining Zenith Bio, my grades improved drastically from an S to an A in A Level’s! Bio is so much more than regurgitation and requires a firm understanding of the subject in order to ace A Levels — I was super glad that I was able to text my friendly tutor with any questions I had!! Getting treated to welfare during bio lessons also really helped me to focus throughout the lesson. 🥤"

"Attending Zenith's General Paper tuition with my tutor Hui Ying was a game-changer for me. Zenith provided the structure I needed and introduced me to formulas for answering GP questions I didn't know existed. Their tactics, gradually instilled, became second nature, leading to marked improvement."

"With the huge academic transition to JC, I was unable to cope with my studies and constantly scored an S for my exams. After joining the crash courses held by Zenith in June, I decided to sign up for their chemistry class! My tutor is an extremely helpful teacher and his teachings were concise and easy to understand which greatly helped me clear up any misconceptions I had."

"Mandy helped me learn to appreciate Math! Her explanations of answering techniques and methods are so helpful and easy to follow. The practices we did in class helped me to familiarise myself with the common questions tested in exams and I felt more confident stepping into the exam hall."
