Evan Heng
Evan Heng is the founder and CEO of Zenith Education Studio, under Zenith Learning Group. He is a prominent entrepreneur in the education sector, known for his dedication and innovative approach to holistic student development. Evan started his teaching career early, teaching economics to junior college students while still serving national service. He founded Zenith Education Studio in 2019, opting to stay in Singapore and investing $100,000 of his savings into the business instead of pursuing his dream of studying geography at University College London.
Under Evan’s leadership, Zenith has grown from a single center with 160 students to multiple centers with over 5,000 students annually. Beyond academic support, Zenith provides holistic development through career workshops and bootcamps to help students enhance their portfolios.
Evan is known for his process-driven mentality and his ability to overcome business challenges which laid the foundation for Zenith’s current success. His students have consistently delivered outstanding results, with distinction rates nearly twice the national average despite many coming from below-average schools. His entrepreneurial journey is marked by his ability to balance growth and educational excellence, making a significant impact on the education landscape in Singapore. Today, Zenith is the biggest JC centre in Singapore, annually serving ~20% of the JC population and growing.
