About Me:

Finn has accumulated extensive experience as a Teacher-Mentor for General Paper (GP) over the past four years, offering invaluable guidance and support to new educators. He has played a key role as a Cooperating Teacher for new National Institute of Education (NIE) teachers, assisting many in smoothly transitioning into their teaching roles. Finn spent a decade teaching in Anderson Junior College and Raffles Institution, where he not only served as a GP level head but also contributed as an educator himself, providing a well-rounded perspective on both teaching and mentorship.

Finn's commitment to professional development is evident in his multi-year nominations for the Outstanding Youth in Education Award (OYEA), highlighting his dedication and excellence in the field. He has been certified by Cambridge in teaching and marking the new syllabus for 8881/01 and 8881/02, a specialized course that has equipped him with the knowledge and skills to effectively implement the latest curriculum changes.

His training specializations also include course certifications from MIT on Innovation of Products and Services with an emphasis on Design Thinking. Finn is NIE Certified in several key areas such as Basic Dialogic Argumentation, Design Thinking: Tools and Methods, Engaging Pedagogies, and Authentic Learning.
